Columbia College Chicago’s Design Show 2017 was a self-initiated project seeking to fill the void of an official senior thesis in Columbia’s design program.

For the inaugural year, I pulled on themes of collaboration and the raw material of the student body, using a combination of basic shapes to create the wordmark, as well as various compositions. I used this as an opportunity to flex all of the skills I learned while at Columbia—branding, publication design, type design, and sign fabrication.
